Went down to Pizza Hut this evening. They reportedly desperately need cooks. Jen (the RGM) told me to return tomorrow at around 3 PM to fill out paperwork and whatnot.
What about the other jobs, you ask? I'm lazy as fuck and haven't written a cover letter yet. Yeah, I know. This really shouldn't be too surprising.
The dharma wheel, often depicted on thangkas (and the focus of the article I mentioned), has many different symbols representing various different things. In the center are three animals biting each other's tails - a boar, a snake, and a rooster, representing the three causes of suffering on Earth - ignorance / hatred, greed, and lust. Around this is a procession of age of a human, representing the cycle of death and rebirth caused by the three causes. Around this are displayed the six states of existance, or samsara (in Sanskrit) - Ashura (fighting demons, beings against the deva), Hungry Ghosts, Beings in Hell, Animals, Humans, and Deva (Gods).
Dragons, even though they are considered one of the eight supernatural classes of beings, fall under Animals. I am currently at Humans. The procession is supposed to continue in this manner. By realizing my past draconity, I have realized my path in the cycle.
I have made mention elsewhere on the internet that about the only death I am afraid of is to be crushed to death. According to this site here, one of the regions of hell is known for this form of torture - Samghata, a region reserved for "those who indulged in sexual misconduct either through various forms of infidelity, inappropriate sexual practices, or rape." I am currently asexual, and believe I had not the ability to reproduce as a dragon. Could this have been my previous incarnation? It does seem to fit the bill.
EDIT: I finally got up off my duff and wrote a semi-decent cover letter. It shall be sent out tomorrow morning, after I confirm that the job posting is still up. :/
