Y'know what? Fuck it. I'm obviously the only one who sees anything wrong with what others do, and I'm the only one who takes offense because I'm such a selfish insensitive bastard to think it's wrong to fuck with shit that isn't yours, so I'll just take my sorry sociopathic ass elsewhere. This journal will be nothing but flowers and sunshine with the occasional meme from now on. I won't speak unless spoken to, and even then it'll be fairly forced. I won't hang out unless specifically told to, and then it'll only be because I was specifically told to.

And I was actually feeling somewhat nice after RHPS, too.

Eh, might as well get this out of the way as well. From [livejournal.com profile] rexar with love.

1. I'll respond with something random I like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you. (Don't expect much on this one, folks.)
3. I'll pick a liquid to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me (or just me).
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of. (Answer may be of the obvious variety.)
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8. If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal.
9. If I so chose, I can throw objects instead of answering these questions.

I like hearing what you have to say. Helps me realize I need to re-evaluate how I think about things.
Please don't stop ranting.

You should keep ranting about the shit that pisses you off. It's good for both you and others. Sameness sucks. If you think it's wrong for people to fuck with shit that isn't their's then you should say so. Just because it is often standard practice doesn't mean that you have to like it. I think you're awesome because you're different. Feel free to express your differences. It's your journal and it's your life.

You need to express yourself, we all do, life isn't all sunshine and flowers, especially not on this planet. Never be afraid to express your heart, express who you are, listen to your heart, be yourself, not what others would like too see you be and do, but do because you -are- and because -you feel deep down- that it's what you need and thusly is your personal truth and right for you. *hugs* Be well Baph.

*hug*
Don't let anyone decide what you can or cannot say for you. Journals are for ranting, and I for one really like reading yours - you really do have something to say, and say it eloquently and thought-provokingly. There's no social reason for you to stifle yourself, and even if there were, it doesn't mean a thing. Please continue letting us peek into your world, we love you.
*another hug*

None of us think less of you for ranting your feelings. Anyone who does is a bloody hypocrit, and not worth the dirt it took to make 'em. You have the right to rant, and just because some people disagree doesn't mean that your opinions and feelings are worth any less than theirs. Let me pass something on to you that my speech coach told me in 10th grade...
Don't let the bastards get you down.

Hey, what would be life without the occasional angry rant? You shouldn't feel like you have to keep quiet just to appease others.

[identity profile] rexar.livejournal.com 2005-10-10 04:18 am (UTC)(link)
I will have to disagree. You are not the only one who takes objection. It is your right to speak out against something you think is wrong, and you should stand up for what you think is right. You are a reasonable, rational person, and have a strong sense of right and wrong. Listen to that sense, first and foremost, not to naysayers.

As for the meme--Avast, analyze me!

I wonder if I should do everyone else who posted, too... >_>

1. You actually understand all that electronics crap they tried to teach me in AP physics. That's astounding.
2. Anything by KMFDM.
3. Err... let's go with... human blood. :P
4. ALLES FUER DIE ORDNUNG!
5. You doing calculus in my apartment. :P
6. A physics-drache.
7. Were you always a mad-scientist-type? If not, what was the moment of inspiration?
8. Aber, ich hab' es von dir gestolt...
9. *throws a vaccuum tube at you*

*happy, twinkly puppy-eyes* I remind somebody of a KMFDM song? I'm honored ^_^

I have sought science since I was old enough to know what it is. I always liked its pratical way of investigating truth, and I also always liked the cool inventions that came from it. I wanted to know how all that stuff worked, and I wanted to know how to make cool inventions too. It is an inherent psychological quality of mine.

See... I think that moving something ten feet isn't Fucking with Things.
Putting limbs from dead animals in someone's bed is Fucking with Things.
Stealing items from a laundromat, that's Fucking with Things.

But then again, that's not helping the situation, it's just flaming.

Flaming is Fucking with Things, so I'm gonna stop. I will end with this:

The Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory

[identity profile] baphijmm.livejournal.com 2005-10-10 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Eh, I don't see that as flaming. I was upset and mostly just caught up in the moment; perhaps a better use of terms on my part would have been to say "messing with stuff"?

[identity profile] baronj.livejournal.com 2005-10-10 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
I meant that I was kinda flaming/trolling by responding to your comment about "I don't get why people gotta be so mean about what I think" with a comment about why I think what I do about what you think.

I was the troll in this case, and I was realising it.

/me dork!
