Got back from the House of Imbri about 45 minutes ago. It was a pretty nice party, and I enjoyed being a fly on the wall at it, as it were. Yeah, I probably should have talked more, but as everyone here knows, talking to people is most certainly not my forte. Meh. I was also struggling to keep my eyes open - not any fault on the part of the party organizers, rather my narcolepsy. DDR was fun, though. That was the first time I've ever tried doubles, and I wasn't too terribly bad.

Oh, and I realized before the party what reason I had to wear the Shino costume: Halloween coincides with the anime club meeting of the week. :P

And just for fun, a little quiz.

You are Ken, kind and smart.
You're Ken!

Which Digimon 02 character are you?

Today was fun. I did some stuff, and came to a few realizations. All in all, a good day.

The day started off at 11 AM, when I woke up and thought it was 12 noon. Since it's a Sunday, I didn't really care, and slept for another hour anyway. :P I then went to the store for food and caffeine. I was going to do that yesterday, but I was also lugging around a bike tire, and it just wasn't practical. I had just replaced the innertube, and was going to get it filled before I reattached it to the bike.

Then, I pretty much sat around until 4:30 PM, when I went out to watch Ted play Zelda OoT on the N64. He recently restarted, and we had all sorts of fun making fun of Young Link's limitations. Travis was in and out, and around 5:45, we (Ted, Travis, and I) went and got Taco Bell. Yes, real Southwestern food. :P We came back just in time to see Roque plug in Vandread (an anime). I stayed for the greater part of the first two episodes before I embarked on my quest to the anime club meeting, dressed as Shino (see previous post).

Turns out the guy who provides us with Utena goodness was in Arizona this weekend. Meh, that just meant we got to watch four episodes of Stellvia, and four episodes of Utena next week. It was during the last episode of Stellvia we watched that my revelation came. They were discussing the fact that everyone had hit their own "invisible wall", and that Shima (main character) was about to hit hers. It was this episode that made me realize what my problem is: I've hit my wall for the first time ever. I never hit it in high school, like everyone else apparently did, so I'm completely unprepared. It made me sad, and I got a lump in my throat as I watched Shima cry at the very end, but I'll move on. I'm sure I've pulled through worse. All I need to do is work for it, and not slack off like I'm used to doing. Now, I just need the motivation to do so.

As the meeting ended for me (I don't stay to watch GTO), I left and noticed something new lining the parking lot -- bases to streetlights that weren't there before. They're putting up more lights in the parking lot. And to think, all this change came about because I got frustrated at this computer and decided to go for a walk. It makes me glad that something I did can influence what goes on around here.

Tomorrow, I have Physics, German, History, and Math. I also am supposed to have Japanese, but I really need to email the teacher of that before I go back, as there are only seven students total in that class, and I've not attended for... well, let's leave it at that. ^^;

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm now supposed to be drawing something for the Boards.Jp 2005 Calendar project. I have the month of January. I've got a pretty good idea, and it shall be Princess Tutu fanart. It's been far too long since I've done that.
