Behold! It is finished!

Dear god, that took a lot longer than I had hoped it would. >_< And, because I'm just that nice (read: bored), I'm going to post character information! :)

ExpandCut for length )

Holy crap, that took entirely too long. I might as well have written the book by this point. :/

EDIT: Zeta Gundam marathon continues tomorrow, here, at 4 PM. If enough people show up, we might just start over again from the beginning (there were only three people total, and we only got through three episodes, I think).

Some of you may remember last week, during the documentary, the question came up as "What reaction do you have to characters in TV shows who are bi, or just generally part of the minority within which you fall?", and I responded something along the lines of "Whenever shows come up like that bearing a resemblance to a particular community I'm a member of, there's generally a large amount of apprehension, as there's the feeling that there will usually be kids joining afterwards thinking 'OMG I r this lolz', and it's a bad thing for their self-image as it tends to be role-playing..." et cetera. I was cryptic on purpose - the community was the dragonkin community, which I know would have just de-railed the conversation right there if I had said that. :P

Why am I going into this here and now? Well, I have a confession to make: I caved in and watched an episode of "American Dragon: Jake Long". ^^; This show caused a HUGE uproar in the dragonkin community, because it portrays a kid in New York who happens to be a dragon. The general fear was, a lot of kids would see this and immediately think, "OMG being a kick-ass dragon would be so KOOL, I WISH I WAS ONE" and just generally become a huge problem within the community. I was curious, as it *does* show dragons regularly, so... yeah. I caved.

It wasn't that bad, honestly. Sure, some of the characters were pretty annoying (Jake himself can get VERY much so, as can the family dog), but overall, it was fairly well-done, considering the context. And I gotta say, as embarrassing as it is... his grandpa's dragon form is very... ^^;

Anyway... yeah. *awkward silence*

Zeta Gundam at 4, remember folks. Here is Alt. 215.
I'm sorry. I tried to enjoy it, but I just couldn't. That's why I left. It's the same reason I stayed in my room whilst my roommates watched Robotech. It's just not interesting to me.

It doesn't help when you basically quash the one government organization I actually like, nor does it help when you claim that the one show I voted for most vehemently was voted for by "fanboys".

By the way, I'm also shut in here because I'm pretty depressed. I'll still go to the place for the thing tonight, but... hopefully, walking alone the silent streets at night will help my mood slightly. :/

EDIT: OH SNAP
