So tonight, Roque and
knes_here decided they'd try their hands at making sushi rolls. Using rice, seaweed, immitation crabmeat, carrot, radish, and ginger, they made four different kinds in plentiful quantity. They also made some seasoned salmon (I think Travis officially cooked that), and Ted made some french fries.
I was a little skeptical at first, as the only other time I had ever had sushi, well... it wasn't pleasant. I tried it anyway (all except for the ones with radish, as I really don't like radish).
The sushi was f-ing awesome. Especially with a bit of ginger. Seriously, one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Oh, and
vampire_ninja, I got it this afternoon. Awesome stuff. Listening to it now; so far, my favorite is "Licht"; seriously awesome chord-work. Thanks! :)
EDIT: Almost forgot; I found a copy of Hsi Yu Ki in the school library; though I don't know when I'll have time to read it, I did go ahead and check it out.
