So, tonight at work, Joey reminded me of the exchange program Tech has. I will have to look into this at a later date.
Work was not fun. While the load wasn't bad, the news was terrible.
See, over the weekend, Will, one of the other cooks, was fired. This left us with three cooks. Also, I was scheduled for two nights in which I said I could not work, Will had been put on this week's schedule, and Cindy (a driver who cannot come in currently due to issues at home) was also scheduled to come in. This left a lot of shifts without someone working them.
This morning, due to problems with his recorded hours during his previous pay period, Louis, one of the other cooks, quit. This leaves myself, who wants to quit as soon as he finds another job, and Reuben, who was hired at about the same time I was re-hired.
Now, on top of all this, Jen, the RGM, is also currently having issues at home and yet has to come into work. She's also thinking of quitting. Joey, the usual evening shift manager, is thinking of quitting to get a better job elsewhere (and is trying as hard as he can to give Art, the area coach, a reason to fire him). Chris just became a manager. Several of the servers are thinking of walking out, and one of the three remaining drivers is disabled right now and doesn't come in for her scheduled hours. Sales are falling through the floor, and everyone's on edge.
Pizza Hut looks as though it's going to fall out. :/
