Dear lord, I've gone senile; I set a can of Mountain Dew down on the table, left it for five seconds, and forgot I had it, so I went over to the fridge, pulled another out, cracked it open, and finished it. As I threw the empty can away, I noticed the other, still half-full can on the table, and smacked myself on the forehead. I swear, I'm not getting old! Honest!
Ted let me borrow his credit card to get the player's handbook for Fireborn from Amazon. It should be here within five business days; I can't wait. Of course, if we're going to do this, I suppose I'll have to be the GM. :/ I don't know where to begin or even what to do. ^^; Oh well, I still can't wait.
Anime club this evening was kinda neat, yet... different. We started with Kevin getting a list of stuff folks wanted to sample this semester - I suggested Legend of the Dragon Kings, which was shown first, followed by Cardcaptor Sakura and Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu. Gungrave, Samurai X, Samurai Kyo, and Samurai Champloo were shown after this, but as I had seen them all and have no interest in seeing them again, this is where I bailed out. (Truthfully, I had seen all of these shows before, but I actually enjoy the first three.) I think Legend of the Dragon Kings went over well.
After we watched Dragon Kings, I heard a sound coming from behind me (I was leaning on one of the pillars supporting the sound and light room). I turned around to see Jessica sitting on the sofa situated on that one little ledge; she waved me up to join her since I had seen her get up there, so I did. The ladder about slipped out from under me when I did so, but I made it safely. It smelled like cloves and honey up there for some reason. Anyway, we sat up there together watching Sakura and Fumoffu. 'Twas kinda neat. (We got down by holding the ladder for each other. ^^; )
The voting isn't until next week, as the turnout this week wasn't too great due to the fact that the club fair isn't until this week (we speculate), and Kevin didn't have time to put up flyers while he was fixing his computer so we could even have the meeting.
I still need to type up my physics lab cover sheet for tomorrow. I should probably get on that.
