I woke up this morning at around 1 PM. I wanted to wake up a bit earlier, so I might have time to translate another Rammstein song before 2, but life can't be that easy. Sad thing is, I woke up, looked at the clock on my stereo, which read 10:30 AM (we'd had a power outage during the last storm, remember, so that clock had been reset), and thrust myself out of bed thinking that to be the time. Upon learning it was actually much later, I decided to not even try a translation.

The reason I wanted to do something before 2 is because there was another movie I sorta wanted to see playing at the Loma. While, in all honesty, I probably wouldn't normally want to see "Shark Tale", I was bloody bored, and wanted to procrastinate, so I decided I would. I was highly surprized that it didn't completely suck. That is the only movie with Jack Black in it that I enjoyed (probably because, since he himself wasn't on film, he couldn't play a loser slacker wannabe-rockstar like all his other movies). Instead, he played a shark that reminded me somewhat of myself (only somewhat). Not normal, afraid to tell others he's a "vegetarian", etc. Will Smith's role was a bit "over-the-top", but there was some humor in it, so not all was lost. Overall, I'd say it got about a 7.5/10. Not bad.

I forgot I was supposed to call my grandmother today to wish her a happy birthday (it was on Friday, but I didn't know until around 10 PM my time, so I figured I'd call her today). I'll call her tomorrow.

The Rammstein Lyrics website I posted earlier has been updated with the lyrics for the song "Ohne Dich". I tried both "Dalai Lama" and "Reise, Reise" as well, but both have quite a few undiscernable parts (especially "Dalai Lama"), so I sorta gave up. Perhaps tomorrow, after I call my grandmother, write a letter to my brother, do my physics homework, go to anime club, buy some Mountain Dew... At least this is helping me expand my German. I just might even include the lyrics and translations to the other Rammstein albums I have, if I have sufficient time (read: boredom).

I didn't fudge up the rice today. But I did make too much. Perhaps I'll save some for later.

And, while my hair is long enough to get in my eyes when it is blown around, it's just short enough that not all of it will fit in a barrette. I suppose I'll just have to wait a month or two.
