So, tonight brought some bad news.
Jen, the head manager, quit.
This means we have two managers and two cooks left - four people to take all the production work.
Art, the area coach, showed up for a time to try and get at least this week's schedule under control. I'm now working Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8 PM, and Monday from 4:30 to close. Had I been without labs Thursday or Friday, I'd be working those evenings as well. :/
Basically, this is a call for one of two things: either, if you're desperate for work then please apply, as we're "now hiring for a job that's anything but ordinary" (I shit you not, this is the slogan on the pins we have to wear at work now), or please please please hire me elsewhere! Preferably the second? ^^; As Joey put it, "Get the hell off this rapidly-sinking ship!"
And now, I must study for the linear algebra test tomorrow morning. :/
